Character Inspiration. The Men From The Saving Dystopia Series

TIME GLITCH: BOOK ONE

First up is Dylan Garvey, a support character in the novel. The entire time travel premise wouldn't be possible without him. Sort of like Sarah Conner in terminator two. She didn't take centre stage in that movie, but the whole sage was based on her.

Dylan Garvey in the present is a 26-yr old SAS soldier who doesn't know that his life is about to be turned upside down. A set-up operation is upon his team, and he will loose his fellow soldiers and friends.

Dylan Garvey of the future didn't realise that this saved his life. His early retirement and family focus lead him to fly under the radar when a government culling of the population occurs. Garvey goes on to form a group of rebels and fights for the freedom of others in the future. A gang of his rebels are the ones who land here in the past, and decide to stick around their leader until the world crashes down again. Unless they can recruit him now, to start his rebellion work early.

The visual muse for Dylan had to be supper hot and fit and have a few tattoos, who could charm his way around any situation. Think of a cocky English man, with a wink and knowledge of fighting and guns.

The older Dylan Garvey of course retains his good looks, but the war and running with his young children has hardened him over the years. He's not afraid to go weeks without a shave or a shower, and runs drills with his children to mould them into young adults who can fight and protect themselves. The muscles and attitude had to stay in my muse, but the grey hair and bead is an added bonus!

Next up are Finley, and Cameron. Two of Dylan's friends who's future's are already demised. We meet these two at the beginning of the novel and I just had so much fun looking up images to use that I had to use them!

Mark, a future rebel, is highlighted here by model Levi Stock. That's right, I managed to find and stalk this one! His photos are super and he has all the bad boy attitude who's really a good man at heart. Levi had a baby recently, or he did while I was researching his Insta, and man, holding a baby and looking that hot just ticks all the right boxes!

Although Mark from Time Glitch is older than Levi, I think Levi embodies everything I was looking for in Mark.
